BROWN AKARA BALLS WITH GINGERED BROWN AKAMU



washed brown beans


add pepper to washed beans


blend beans with pepper


grated ginger for akamu


filter chaff from ginger


clean ginger liquid


raw akamu (guinea corn flour)


mix ginger liquid with raw akamu



stir ginger liquid with corn flour


pour in boiling water until corn flour thickens


For balls, DO NOT use these scoop, spoon shapes to scoop beans into oil


use this deep round shape scoop to drop ground beans into oil. This helps to form round balls


Use a deep fryer or por much oil into fry pan. Enough tp enable akara balls float


fry balls until they begin to float before you increase the heat


a serving of akara with akamu


add sugar or honey to akamu and serve with akara


healthy breakfast with akara balls and akamu
